What’s included

Server check

We confirm your server meets the requirements before anything is installed.

WPL7 installation

We install WPL7 on your server and check that the panel runs.

DNS and certificates

We set up the panel and dev-domain DNS records and their certificates.

Mail setup

We configure mail and guide you through the SPF, DKIM and DMARC records.

Backups

We configure backups, including one offsite destination.

Your first site

We create your first site on the new server.

Handover walkthrough

A call where we walk you through the panel and answer your questions.

Admin access for you

All admin access is handed over to you at the end.

What we need from you

  • A server: a fresh Ubuntu 26.04 x86-64 machine with 2 GB RAM or more, root/SSH access, a public IPv4 address and ports 80/443 open
  • A domain whose DNS you can edit, or access to its DNS
  • An email address for certificates and alerts

Any provider with a plain Ubuntu image works, for example Hetzner, DigitalOcean, Vultr, Linode, Scaleway or OVH. WPL7 takes the whole machine, so use a server that runs nothing else.

    Within one business day we email you to collect the access details.

  3. We install and configure

    We set up WPL7 and everything listed above.

  4. Handover walkthrough

    We walk you through the panel on a call.

  5. You own it

    You change the passwords, we remove our keys, and the server is yours.

Managed setup questions

No. At handover you change the passwords and we remove our SSH keys. We keep no access to your server.

Any provider that offers a plain Ubuntu 26.04 x86-64 image, for example Hetzner, DigitalOcean, Vultr, Linode, Scaleway or OVH. WPL7 takes the whole machine, so start with a fresh server.

Not as part of the $490 setup. If you need existing sites moved, email [email protected] and we’ll agree the scope and any extra cost before we start.

We check before we install. If something is missing, we tell you what to change, such as a fresh Ubuntu 26.04 image or more RAM. If we can’t install WPL7 on it, you get a full refund.

Support for the setup itself is included. Ongoing help after the handover is Premium support, described on the Enterprise support page.
